We were delighted to be invited to present Living-Language-Land on 3 November 2021 as part of the public programme of events in the COP26 Green Zone. Creative Producers Neville Gabie and Philippa Bayley were joined by three of our contributors to the project – Sylvia Vollenhoven from South Africa (see her contribution |Xau) and Helina Hookoomsing from Mauritius (see her contribution Danbwa) via videoconference, and Malcolm Maclean (see his contribution Aibidil) from Scotland, who was there in person.
We were also featured in The Guardian on 3 November 2021 – Indigenous languages project urges COP26 leaders to rethink ties to the land.
